Dr. Purewal comes to SEE with over a decade of optometry experience, including special interests in dry eye, pediatrics and co-management of ocular diseases. In addition to treating patients in traditional office settings, she feels passionately about treating patients in less traditional settings, such as Chicago Public Schools, Veteran Affairs Hospitals and community-based outreach volunteer work. Patient education is one of her top priorities as a doctor, and she strives to answer all patient questions and concerns to ensure accurate prescriptions for all lifestyle needs. She is fluent in English and Punjabi and can provide a basic eye exam in Spanish. During her free time, Dr. Purewal enjoys traveling, reading, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and loved ones.
